How to Ride

Taking the bus is a great way to reduce the cost and environmental impact of your commute. Vermont’s ten regional bus companies make up a network designed to help you get around in your community and across the state. All of our Vermont bus companies also provide special services for members of the community that may need a little more help getting around, such as elderly and disabled citizens.

New to Public Transit?

Don’t be afraid to ask questions! Contact your local provider. You can always ask your driver for help to navigate your first few rides and confirm that you’re getting on the right bus, explain how to request a stop, or show you how to place a bicycle in the rack.

Additionally, you can always contact our Mobility Manager (802-442-0629) who will be available to assist you with your transportation questions. We will take notes about the purpose of your trip and gather information to find your transportation options.

Whether traveling locally or across the state, we’ll help you find route maps, rates and fare information, schedules, bus stop locations and more:
